To set ADFS debug levels on federation servers and federation proxy servers

1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Federation Services.
2. Right-click Federation Service or Federation Service Proxy, and then click Properties.
3. On the Troubleshooting tab, select debug levels as appropriate, and then click OK.

In Event Viewer, highlight Application and Services Logs, right-click and select View > Show Analytics and Debug Logs. Navigate to AD FS Tracing – Debug, right-click and select “Enable Log” to start Trace Debugging immediately.

In IIS, we can add a new header for our site, though, we can also set the response header at the server or folder level if necessary.

• Open IIS Manager and select the site
• Double-click on the HTTP Response Headers
• Click Add…
• Set the name to: Strict-Transport-Security
• Set the value to: max-age=10886400 then click OK
