for your response. I just got it working with these settings, I was mixing up
some IP ports as it turns out.
FYI,
on Exchange 2013, I have now configured the following
- Receive connector: Custom / Transport Hub
- Authentication: Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Externally secured CHECKED
- Permission groups: Exchange servers,
and Anonymous users CHECKED
- Scoping: Remote network settings = <IP address of SP server>, Network
adapter bindings = <IP address of Exchange server network adapter that is
receiving on port 25>
An on
the SharePoint side, in Central
Administration/System settings/Outgoing email/Server = the FDQN of my Exchange Server.
That
sorted it.
